Winifred Rowena Casey

	Winifred Rowena Casey, age 96, of Pinckneyville, died Sunday, December 17, 2000 at 3:15 a.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital Skilled Care Unit.
	Winifred was born in Benton on September 29, 1904, the daughter of Albert James and Winifred (Bays) Casey.  She was a homemaker, of the Protestant faith and was a former cook at the Perry County Jail.
	Survivors include three nephews:  William Hartwell and his wife, Julia, of Hazelwood, Mo., Charles Cole of Arizona, and Jr. Cole of Arkansas, four nieces:  Maxine Lueker of Pinckneyville, Mary Ellen Justice and her husband, Henry, of DuQuoin and Pat Brostmeyer and her husband, Tex, of Pinckneyville and Shirley Maxine Clutts of Kankakee, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters:  Grace Hartwell, Gertrude Casey and Mary Cole and an infant brother.
	Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 19 at 11 a.m. in the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, with Bro. Rob Mathis officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
